Contrary to many libertarian beliefs, the reason why they believe socialism will become a tragic fail is because they believe that socialism will lead to state intervention. However, this is a myth and not true. This assumption comes from various nations who label themselves as “Communist”, such as Soviet’s failed ‘state-socialism’ whereas in fact was actually capitalism in just another term. It makes me giggle when people like Hayek or Mises or one of those poops tells us that socialism will be a fail because of state-intervention. In fact, socialism is contrary to statism; furthermore, complete opposites, because state-socialism leads to capitalism because in socialism, someone, regardless if it’s the state or individuals, own the means of production and is controlling wage labour—where it turns out to be capitalism after all. Capitalism was born from state intervention, and except for a very short period of laissez-faire which ended in depression, has always depended on state intervention for its existence. Marx himself had said that the state cannot survive without capitalism and vice versa.
The executive of the modern state is nothing but a committee for managing the common affairs of the whole bourgeoisie.
